GET TO KNOW ASHLEY WILSON

Ashley Wilson is a sole practitioner dedicated to obtaining favorable outcomes for her clients throughout Illinois and Wisconsin.  Concentrating on real estate law and other transactional matters, Ashley handles residential and commercial real estate closings and works closely with real estate investors in assignment and double escrow situations. Ashley has experience with many areas of Contract law, including entity formation, land contracts, lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements, agency and sponsorship agreements, and player contracts. Ashley vigorously defends Clients in traffic law matters, including DUIs/OWIs.    

Ashley is a 2010 graduate of Marquette Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she earned the National Sports Law Institute’s Sports Law Certificate and served on the Sports Law Review Staff.  While attending law school, she was a research assistant and participated in mock trial competitions through Phi Alpha Delta.  She was also a member of the Pro Bono Society, earning volunteer hours working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate of CASA McHenry County.   

Ashley is highly involved in the local community, where she previously served on the McHenry County Bar Association Board of Governors and won an award from Prairie State Legal Services for her pro bono work on the Wills for Veterans program in McHenry County.  She has been highly involved in local chambers and young professional groups, volunteering her time with food banks, Habitat for Humanity, and animal outreach organizations, to name a few.  She is the attorney for Club 400, a local 501c3 charity dedicated to assisting Chicago Cubs fans at a personal level.  

In her free time, Ashley enjoys playing organized and competitive sports such as softball, volleyball, golf, bowling, and billiards.  She enjoys being outdoors with her family and pets, camping, snowmobiling, riding ATVs, and kayaking.  Traveling is her true passion, having visited all 50 states while exploring our nation’s National Parks and Historic Sites and over 60 countries while experiencing international cultures, cuisines, and history.  Ashley hopes to attend a Major League Baseball game at all 32 stadiums and to visit every continent.
